FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: knit fabrics with medium or low stretch from natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: knit binding; 5 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: All seams 1.0 cm. Hem allowance - 2.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Back – 1 piece on fold
  • Front – 1 piece on fold
  • Front yoke – 2 pieces
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Cuff – 2 pieces
  • Collar stand – 1 piece

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread serger.

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch darts on front pieces. Trim depth with a serger and press down.
2. Attach front yokes to front, press seam allowances up and serge. Lay binding over the seam and topstitch.
3. Stitch shoulder seams, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
4. Fold collar stand lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch short sides. Turn collar stand right side out, straighten, press. Make buttonholes.
5. Overlap the left side of the collar stand over the right, secure. Attach collar stand to neckline, press seam allowances and serge.
6. Set sleeves into armholes according to notches, press seam allowances and serge. Stitch side seams simultaneously with sleeve seams, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
7. Fold cuffs into a loop right sides together and stitch, press seam allowances open. Turn cuffs right side out, fold in half and press. Along the lower edge of the sleeve, stitch with loosened thread and gather. Attach cuffs to sleeves, press seam allowances towards the sleeve, serge.
8. Serge bottom edge. Fold allowance inwards and topstitch.
9. Sew buttons to the collar stand and the seam of the left yoke.
