Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. You will also need: fusible interfacing.
CUTTER'S MUST
If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: hem allowance – 2 cm, other seams 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need. When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
- From main fabric:
- Front – 1 piece on fold
- Back – 1 piece on fold
- Cuff – 2 pieces
- Collar – 1 piece
- From fusible interfacing:
- Cuff – 2 pieces
- Collar - 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Stitch darts on the front. Press dart allowances upwards.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams, overcast allowances and press towards the back.
- Fold the collar in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the short edges. Turn the collar right side out and press. Overlap the collar corners, matching the marks. Place the collar on the blouse from the wrong side and stitch the collar. Overcast the allowance. Turn the collar to the right side, covering the stitching seam.
- Stitch the cuff into a loop. Press allowances open. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve. Fold the allowance of the inner part inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
- Fold the bottom edge of the garment twice by 1 cm and topstitch.
