FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: lace 4 cm wide; concealed zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance for the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve hem – 2.0 cm, Other allowances – 1.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

  • From main fabric:
    • Upper back part - 2 pieces
    • Lower central back part - 2 pieces
    • Lower side back part - 2 pieces
    • Upper side front part - 2 pieces
    • Upper central front part - 1 piece on fold
    • Front waistband – 1 piece
    • Back waistband - 2 pieces
    • Lower side front part – 2 pieces
    • Lower central front part - 1 piece on fold
    • Sleeve - 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Stitch back darts, press allowances towards the center. Stitch relief seams of the lower back part, overcast allowances and press towards the center.
  2. Overcast the upper edge of the central front part. Fold the allowance inwards and press. Lay lace on the central part and topstitch at 0.5 cm. Stitch shoulder seams. Overcast allowances and press towards the back. Attach the upper side front part to the upper central front part. Overcast neckline allowances simultaneously with the front relief seams. Press allowances inwards and topstitch at 0.5 cm.
  3. Stitch relief seams of the lower front part. Overcast allowances and press towards the center.
  4. Attach the upper and lower back parts to the waistband. Overcast allowances and press towards the waistband. Along the lower edge of the central part and the upper edge of the lower front part, make stitches with loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the upper and lower front parts to the waistband. Overcast allowances and press towards the waistband.
  5. Overcast the center back edge separately on each piece. Stitch the seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press open the center back seam allowances. Insert the concealed zipper.
  6. Stitch side seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
  7. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back of the sleeve and overcast. Along the sleeve cap, make a stitch with loosened thread and gather. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches, press allowances and overcast.
  8. Overcast the bottom edges of the blouse and the sleeve hems. Fold allowances inwards and topstitch.
