FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: well-draping fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; 1 button; 1 invisible zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance 1.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! ALL MARKINGS ARE MADE ON THE RIGHT SIDE!

• From main fabric:
  • Front panel inner – 1 piece
  • Front panel outer – 1 piece
  • Back panel inner – 1 piece
  • Back panel outer – 1 piece
  • Waistband – 1 piece
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Waistband – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

1. Reinforce the waistband with fusible interfacing.
2. Stitch the right side seam of the outer skirt, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast. Stitch the right side seam of the inner skirt, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
3. Overcast the left side edges of the outer and inner skirt separately. Stitch the left side seam of the outer skirt from the zipper notch to the hem, press seam allowances open. Stitch the left side seam of the inner skirt from the zipper notch to the hem, press seam allowances open. Insert the invisible zipper into the outer skirt. Place the inner skirt inside the outer skirt, secure along the upper edge. Stitch the seam allowances of the inner skirt's opening to the zipper tape.
4. Stitch the outer side of the waistband to the upper edge of the skirt. Trim the ends of the waistband, trim seam allowances at corners and turn out. Fold under the inner edge of the waistband and topstitch into the attaching seam. Press the waistband.
5. Overcast the lower edge of the inner skirt, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Overcast the lower edge of the outer skirt, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
6. Mark and overcast the buttonhole on the waistband. Sew on the button.
