FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: low-stretch knit fabric made from natural or blended fibers, or dress fabrics made from natural or blended fibers with added elastane. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; concealed zipper;

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance for the garment bottom and sleeve hem — 2.0 cm; other allowances - 1.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can range from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.

• From main fabric:
  • Back – 2 pieces
  • Front – 1 piece on fold
  • Sleeve — 2 pieces
  • Front facing — 1 piece
  • Back facing — 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Front facing — 1 piece
  • Back facing — 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to the facings.
2. Stitch darts on the back and front pieces, press the dart depths towards the center.
3. On both back pieces, fuse interfacing to the vent from the wrong side. Overlock the center back seam separately on each piece. Overlock the vent allowances. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the vent corner. Clip the corner of the vent seam allowance on the right side. Press open the center seam allowances, press the vent allowances and secure them with machine stitching. Insert the zipper.
4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, overlock the outer edge. Place the dress with the facing right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Clip the allowances at the curves, turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Attach the facing to the shoulder seams and to the zipper tape.
6. Overlock the sleeve edges separately. Stitch the sleeve seam from the armhole to the zipper mark, press allowances open. Insert the zipper.
7. Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching notches, press allowances and overlock.
8. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment and the sleeve hem. Press allowances to the wrong side and topstitch.
