FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: fusible interfacing; lining fabric; concealed zipper.
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for the dress bottom and bolero sleeve bottom – 2.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

Sewing Instructions
- Dress construction.
- Fuse interfacing to facings.
- Stitch the back princess seams. Press seam allowances towards the center and overcast.
- Overcast the center back seam separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the hem, press seam allowances open. Insert the concealed zipper.
- Stitch the front princess seams. Press seam allowances towards the center and overcast.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams of facings, press seam allowances open. Overcast the lower edge. Place the facing on the neckline, right sides together, and stitch. Clip seam allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Stitch the armhole in two steps: first the front armhole, then the back armhole.
- Overcast the lower edge of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Bolero construction.
- Stitch darts on the front piece, press dart depths upwards.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams, press seam allowances open.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams of the lining, press seam allowances open.
- Place the bolero and lining right sides together and stitch the neckline and lower edge. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn the bolero right side out, smooth, and press. Secure at the armhole edges and then treat as one piece.
- Stitch the sleeve seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches. Press seam allowances and overcast.
- Overcast the lower edge of the sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
