Fabric recommendations: Dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers with elastane in two colors. Also needed: concealed zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 2 cm, other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric 1 :
  • Upper back part - 4 pieces
  • Right upper front part - 2 pieces
  • Left upper front part – 2 pieces
  • Side upper back part — 4 pieces
  • Side upper front part – 4 pieces
• From main fabric 2:
  • Lower central back part — 2 pieces
  • Lower side back part — 2 pieces
  • Lower side front part — 2 pieces
  • Lower central front part — 2 pieces
  • Central back insert – 2 pieces
  • Side back insert – 2 pieces
  • Side front insert – 2 pieces
  • Central front insert – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch the princess seams of the front and back. Press seam allowances towards the center. Stitch the side seams of the upper parts. Press seam allowances open.
2. Stitch the princess seams of the inner front and back. Press seam allowances towards the center. Stitch the side seams of the inner parts. Press seam allowances open.
3. Fold the right upper front parts right sides together and stitch the integrated collar. Trim seam allowances at the corner, turn right side out and press. Fold the collar back at the shoulder seam area and secure. Stitch the left side of the front. Stitch the back neckline. Trim seam allowances at curves. Stitch the shoulder seams, inserting the front pieces between the upper and inner back pieces.
4. Stitch the armholes in two steps: first the front armhole, then the back armhole. Trim seam allowances at curves. Turn right side out and press. Overlap the right front over the left, secure the pieces at the lower edge and then treat as one piece.
5. Attach the insert pieces to the lower parts of the dress. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the insert. Stitch the princess and side seams. Overlock seam allowances. Press princess seams towards the center, side seams – towards the back. Overlock the center back seams separately. Stitch the seams from the zipper mark to the hem.
6. Stitch the upper and lower parts of the dress. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the insert. Topstitch along the insert 0.5 cm from the attachment seams.
7. Insert the zipper.
8. Overlock the hem of the garment, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
