Fabric recommendations: soft dress fabrics, made of natural or blended fibers. YOU ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: for the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve hem – 2 cm, other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 2 pieces
    • Front – 2 pieces
    • Front sleeve part – 2 pieces
    • Back sleeve part – 2 pieces
    • Front neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Front neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Fuse interfacing to the relevant pieces.
  2. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center seam from the zipper mark downwards. Press seam allowances open. Insert the zipper.
  3. Stitch the center front edge, press seam allowances to the left side and serge.
  4. Attach the front and back sleeve parts to the front and back bodice respectively. Serge seam allowances.
  5. Stitch the upper sleeve edges, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
  6. Stitch the side seams simultaneously with the sleeve seam. Press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
  7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the facings, press seam allowances open. Serge the outer edge. Place facings on the neckline and stitch. Clip seam allowances, turn facings to the wrong side. Secure facings to the shoulder seams and zipper tape.
  8. Serge the bottom edge of the sleeve. Fold the integrated cuff and stitch the allowance to the sleeve. Turn the integrated cuff to the right side. Secure the cuff to the bottom sleeve seam.
  9. Serge the allowance of the garment's bottom edge, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
