Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. Interface the details with fusible interfacing.
  2. On the back, stitch the princess seams. Overlock the allowances and press them towards the center. Overlock the center back edges separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom.
  3. On the front, stitch the princess seam. Overlock the allowance and press it towards the center.
  4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Overlock the allowances and press them towards the back.
  5. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings. Press the allowances open. Fold the upper and lower neckline facings right sides together and stitch the neckline. Overlock the outer edge of the lower facings. Attach the upper facing to the garment. Clip the allowances, turn the lower facing to the wrong side.
  6. Insert the zipper.
  7. Attach the facing to the shoulder seams and the zipper tape.
  8. Stitch the sleeve seam. Overlock the allowance and press it towards the back. Set the sleeve into the armhole, matching the notches. Overlock the allowance.
  9. Overlock the bottom edge of the blouse and sleeves, fold inwards, and topstitch.
