- From fusible interfacing:
- Front neckline facing – 1 piece
- Central back neckline facing - 2 pieces
- Side back neckline facing – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- On the back, stitch the darts and press the fullness towards the center. Overlock the center back edges separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Insert the invisible zipper.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Overlock the allowances and press them towards the back.
- Stitch the back facings. Press allowances open. Stitch the back and front facings, clip and press allowances open. Overlock the outer edge of the facings. Place the facing on the neckline and stitch along the upper edge. Clip allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side. Secure the facing to the shoulder seams and zipper tape.
- Stitch the sleeve seam. Overlock the allowance and press it towards the back. Set the sleeve into the armhole, matching notches. Overlock the allowance.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the blouse, fold inwards and topstitch.
- Match the marks for the cord in pairs and overlock 2 buttonholes or install eyelets. Thread the decorative cord.
