Fabric recommendations: suiting fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; 2 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for jacket bottom and sleeve bottom - 2.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 2 pieces
    • Front – 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Collar – 2 pieces
    • Front facing – 2 pieces
    • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Front facing – 2 pieces
    • Back neckline facing - 1 piece
    • Collar – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
  2. On the back, stitch and press darts towards the center. Stitch the center back seam. Overlock the allowance and press to the left side.
  3. Stitch darts on the front. Press the dart folds downwards.
  4. Stitch shoulder seams, overlock allowances and press towards the back.
  5. Set sleeves into armholes. Overlock allowances. Stitch the side seam simultaneously with the sleeve seam. Overlock allowances and press towards the back. Overlock the lower edge of the sleeve. Fold up the allowance, align with the upper mark, and stitch. Turn the cuff to the right side.
  6. Stitch and press open the shoulder seams of the back neckline facing and the front facing. Overlock the outer edge.
  7. Place the front facing on the right side of the front, right side down, pin and stitch all around the front edge and neckline, inserting the collar between the allowances of the upper edge and the facing. Clip allowances at corners. Turn out the front edges, straighten seams, and press.
  8. Overlock the bottom edge of the jacket, fold inwards, and topstitch.
  9. Overlock buttonholes and sew on buttons.
