CUTTER'S MUST

From main fabric:

  • BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
  • FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY on fold
  • Neckline FACING — 1 QTY

From main fabric 1:

  • Back part of SLEEVE – 2 QTY
  • Front part of SLEEVE – 2 QTY

ATTENTION! The neckline FACING pattern piece is necessary to equalize the neckline length. Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also sew the pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch darts on BACK PANEL pieces. Press darts towards the center seam. Stitch the center back seam. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press to the left side.
  2. Attach the SLEEVE to the BACK PANEL. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the BACK PANEL. Attach the SLEEVE to the FRONT PANEL. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the FRONT PANEL.
  3. Stitch the upper edges of the SLEEVES. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL. Stitch the side seams simultaneously with the SLEEVE seams.
  4. Stitch along the FRONT PANEL neckline between the marks with a loosened upper thread. Gather this section. Finish the neckline with BIAS BINDING.
  5. Stitch along the lower edge of the SLEEVE with a loosened upper thread and gather. Finish the bottom of the SLEEVE with BIAS BINDING.
  6. Overlock the hem allowance of the blouse, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
