Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce facings with fusible interfacing.
- Stitch and serge the center back seam of the back. Press seam allowances to the left.
- Stitch side and shoulder seams. Serge seam allowances and press towards the back.
- Clip the bottom seam allowance of the front at the mark. Serge the bottom edge. Fold to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Stitch shoulder seams of facings, press seam allowances open. Serge facings along the outer edge. Serge the outer edge of the front facing. Attach the front facing to the neckline facing. Press seam allowances towards the neckline facing. Fold facings and blouse right sides together and stitch the corner, along the front edge and along the neckline. Clip seam allowances at curves, trim at corners and turn to the wrong side.
- Serge the front insert along the contour. Fold the bottom edge inwards and topstitch. Place the insert under the front edges of the front and secure with pins. (The right front edge is on top). Topstitch the facing seam allowances to the blouse, simultaneously attaching the insert along the design lines.
- Stitch the sleeve seam. Serge seam allowances and press towards the back. Serge the bias edges and the bottom of the sleeve in one step. Fold the bottom edge inwards and topstitch. Fold the bias edge seam allowances inwards and topstitch. Secure the sleeve parts along the upper edge section. Set sleeves into armholes according to notches.
- Sew on buttons according to marks.
