- FRONT PANEL insert - 1 pc
- CUFF — 2 pcs
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: BACK PANEL FACING, FRONT PANEL FACING.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the FACING pieces with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Stitch the waist and shoulder darts on the BACK PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center. Stitch the bust darts on the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the FRONT PANEL insert, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches. Attach the FRONT PANEL insert to the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the FRONT PANEL and overlock. Fold the FRONT PANEL pieces right sides together, align along the center lines, folding back the insert, and stitch from the neckline edge to the mark. Unfold the resulting pleat and secure along the neckline edge.
- Stitch the side and shoulder edges, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and overlock.
- Stitch the shoulder edges of the neckline FACINGS, overlock the outer edge. Place the dress with the FACING right sides together, aligning the neckline edges, and stitch. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves, turn the FACING to the wrong side and press. Attach the FACING to the shoulder seams.
- Stitch the CUFF into a loop, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Fold the CUFF in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Stitch the SLEEVE edge, press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overlock. Attach the CUFF to the SLEEVE, placing it with the right side of the SLEEVE, press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overlock. Fold the integrated SLEEVE FACING to the wrong side and topstitch onto the SLEEVE in the CUFF attachment seam.
- Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, aligning the NOTCHES. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overlock.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the dress, stitch the corners of the FRONT PANEL. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches. Topstitch the integrated FACING onto the FRONT PANEL in the insert attachment seam.
- Fold the TRIM STRIP piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch, leaving an opening for turning. Trim SEAM ALLOWANCES at corners, turn right side out, and press. Place the TRIM STRIP on the dress and secure with buttons.
