Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the designated pieces.
2. Right FRONT PANEL: Fold the FRONT PANEL piece right sides together, aligning the "edge of the placket" and "edge of the concealed placket" lines. Fold the inner part of the placket towards the main piece along the "edge of the placket" line and stitch the neckline edge from the placket edge to the NOTCH. Clip the neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE at the NOTCH, turn the FACING to the wrong side, and press. Overcast buttonholes on the inner placket. Left FRONT PANEL: Fold the FACING with the FRONT PANEL right sides together and stitch the placket edge and neckline from the placket edge to the NOTCH. Clip the neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE at the NOTCH, turn the FACING to the wrong side, and press.
3. Stitch the front princess seams, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center, and overcast.
4. Attach the yoke to the upper part of the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the yoke, and overcast.
5. Form and secure the pleats on the SLEEVE pieces. Attach the SLEEVE to the upper part of the BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the SLEEVE, and overcast.
6. Form and secure the pleats on the upper part of the BACK PANEL. Attach the BACK PANEL with the SLEEVE to the FRONT PANEL and yoke, clipping the FRONT PANEL at the corner. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES on curves, press, and overcast.
7. Fold the stand pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES on curves, trim corners. Turn the stand to the right side, shape, and press.
8. Fold the FACINGS to the right side, insert the stand between the main fabric and the FACINGS, and stitch from the NOTCH to the shoulder seam. At the shoulder seams, clip the inner stand edge and stitch only the outer stand into the neckline. Then, from the shoulder seam to the NOTCH, stitch together with the FACING again. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES on curves, turn FACINGS to the wrong side. Fold under the SEAM ALLOWANCE of the inner stand and topstitch into the stitching line.
9. Overlap the right FRONT PANEL over the left FRONT PANEL, aligning the center lines, and secure them together. Stitch the upper part of the FRONT PANEL to the lower part, press SEAM ALLOWANCES downwards, and overcast. Stitch the upper part of the BACK PANEL to the lower part, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards, and overcast.
10. Stitch the lower edge of the SLEEVE simultaneously with the side seams, press SEAM ALLOWANCES, and overcast.
11. Stitch the CUFF into a loop, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Press the CUFF in half lengthwise with the right side out. Fold the CUFF with the wrong side of the SLEEVE and stitch. Overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES, turn the CUFF to the right side.
12. Overcast the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
13. Sew buttons onto the left FRONT PANEL.
14. Fold the belt in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch along the contour, leaving an opening for turning. Trim SEAM ALLOWANCES at corners, turn the belt to the right side. Close the opening.
