Sleeveless Cowl Neck Draped Dress

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
• 1. Upper BACK PANEL - 4 QTY
• 2. Lower BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
• 3. BACK PANEL Insert — 2 QTY
• 4. Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
• 5. FRONT PANEL Insert — 1 QTY
• 6. Lower FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch darts on upper and lower BACK PANELS. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center. Attach insert to lower BACK PANEL. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCE and press upwards. Attach upper part to insert, overlock SEAM ALLOWANCE and press onto insert. Stitch center back seam. Overlock seam and press to the left side.
2. Form and secure pleats on the shoulder of the FRONT PANEL. On the lower FRONT PANEL, form pleats and secure them with a temporary stitch. Attach FRONT PANEL insert to lower FRONT PANEL. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCE and press upwards. Attach upper FRONT PANEL to insert. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCE and press onto insert.
3. Stitch shoulder seams and right side seam, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Overlock side seam from waist to hem, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL.
4. Overlock left side seam separately. Stitch seam from NOTCH downwards. Insert ZIPPER.
5. Stitch center back seam of LINING. Press SEAM ALLOWANCE open. Stitch shoulder seams and right side seam of LINING. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Overlock lower edge of LINING. Place LINING on dress and stitch neckline FACING. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES, turn LINING to wrong side and press. Stitch armholes in 2 steps: first FRONT PANEL armhole, then BACK PANEL armhole. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES and press. Sew LINING to ZIPPER tape along the side seam. Sew lower edge of LINING to the seam joining the BODICE and insert.
6. Overlock hem allowance of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
