Fabric recommendations: medium-stretch knit fabric made from natural or blended fibers. Also needed: decorative cord.

If the patterns have a double contour, they include SEAM ALLOWANCES. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance – 2 cm; neckline allowances for back and front, armhole allowances for back and front - 1.5 cm; casing allowances – 0 cm; other seams 0.7 cm. ATTENTION! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need. Inscriptions on the patterns are on the right side!

• From main fabric:
  • Back – 1 piece
  • Front – 1 piece
  • Shoulder casing – 2 pieces
  • Side casing – 2 pieces

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the NOTCHES - they must match!

1. Press the short edges of the casing 1 cm to the wrong side. Press the casings in half lengthwise, wrong sides together.
2. Finish the neckline allowances of the back and front, and the armhole allowances of the back and front, press them to the wrong side and topstitch.
3. Along the right side edge of the back and front, from the top to the mark, sew a row of loosely tensioned stitches and gather to the length of the casing. Place the casings on the side edges of the back and front from the top edge to the mark and secure. The fold of the casing is directed away from the edge. Stitch the right side seam, press allowances. Stitch the left side seam, press allowances.
4. Along the shoulder edge of the back and front, sew a row of loosely tensioned stitches and gather to the length of the casing. Place the casings on the shoulder edges of the back and front and secure. The fold of the casing is directed away from the edge. Stitch the shoulder seam, press allowances.
5. Finish the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
6. Thread the cord through the casings: first into one casing from bottom to top, then into the other from top to bottom. Secure.
