Sewing Instructions

Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.

  1. Serge the upper edge of the front, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Form and secure the pleats according to the markings.
  2. Attach the front to the plackets, clip the seam allowances at the notch, press towards the placket and serge.
  3. Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press the seam allowances towards the back and serge.
  4. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, the armhole edges, the back neckline edge, and the raw edge of the front placket. Fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
