Sewing Instructions
- Join the center seams of all double parts (indicated by a blue dashed line in the drawing). Leave an opening in the center back seam for turning out the toy.
- Join the back of the head and the face parts, aligning the center seam, and inserting the turned-out ears.
- Join the nose part to the face part, aligning the mark with the center seam.
- Join the outer edge of the nose part and the lower section of the muzzle with a single seam, starting from the tip of the nose.
- Attach the paw and leg parts to the belly part, aligning the concave edges.
- Join the belly, paws, and legs to the back with a single seam, aligning the center edges and marks. It is useful to make notches in the corners on the back part between the paw and the leg.
- Attach the feet.
- Turn out the head, insert it into the body, join the side and center seams. Join with a single seam.
- Turn out through the opening on the back. Fill with stuffing. Secure the opening with hand stitches.
- Finish the face.
Tips: The stuffing in the nose area should be the densest. Add extra stitches to secure the stuffing. It is best to do this from the wrong (inner) side of the muzzle. As a filler, you can use not only synthetic padding but also cereals, soft polyethylene, yarn scraps, etc. The toy will turn out especially original if, instead of fur, you try sewing it from brocade, velvet, corduroy, terry cloth, waffle fabric, or polka-dot or checkered calico.
