Fabric recommendations: well-draping blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: fusible interfacing; 1 invisible zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance for the bottom of the garment and sleeve – 1.5 cm; other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). ATTENTION! MARKINGS ON THE PATTERNS ARE MADE ON THE FACE SIDE!

  • Back left - 1 piece
  • Back right - 1 piece
  • Front left - 1 piece
  • Front right – 1 piece
  • Lower front part – 1 piece
  • Facing right – 1 piece
  • Facing left – 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Facing right – 1 piece
  • Facing left – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch darts on back pieces. Press dart allowances towards the center.
3. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press seam allowances open. Insert the invisible zipper.
4. Serge the outer edges of the front facings. Place front pieces with facings right sides together and stitch the neckline edges. Clip seam allowances, turn facings to the wrong side and press.
5. On the lower front part, create and secure pleats.
6. On the lower edge of the right front piece, clip the seam allowance at the mark. Serge, fold under, and topstitch the free-hanging section from the mark to the right side seam.
7. Overlap the right front piece onto the left front piece and stitch along the lower edge from the left side seam to the mark. Stitch the upper and lower front parts, folding back the free-hanging section of the right front piece. Serge seam allowances and press upwards.
8. Along the side edge of the free-hanging section of the right front piece, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Alternatively, you can create arbitrary pleats. Secure the front pieces at the side edges.
9. Serge the outer edges of the back neckline facings. Place facings on the right side of the back and stitch the neckline. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked shoulder seam line.
10. Stitch shoulder seams, inserting the front pieces between the back and the facing. Serge seam allowances. Turn out and press the pieces.
11. Stitch side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
12. Serge the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve, fold inwards and topstitch.
