- From fusible interlining:
- Collar stand – 2 pieces
- Cuff – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interlining to the pieces and the integrated facing of the flying front.
- Overlock the outer edge of the integrated facing and the allowance of the lower edge of the flying front, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Place the flying front on the front bodice and secure along the open edges.
- Stitch shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back, overlock.
- Overlock the center edges of the back yokes. Stitch the outer collar stand into the neckline, press allowances towards the collar stand. Attach the zipper, starting from the marked line of the top edge of the collar stand.
- Overlock the lower edge of the inner collar stand. Fold the collar stand pieces right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Clip allowances at curves, turn the collar stand to the right side, straighten and press. Fold the short sides of the inner collar stand inwards and sew to the zipper tape. Topstitch the inner collar stand into the seam of the outer collar stand attachment.
- Stitch the upper and lower back parts, press allowances downwards, overlock.
- Attach sleeves to the garment, press allowances towards the sleeve and overlock.
- Overlock sleeve edges and side edges separately. Stitch the side seam simultaneously with the sleeve seam up to the slit mark, press allowances open. Topstitch the slit 0.1 cm from the fold. Create and secure pleats along the lower edge of the sleeve.
- Fold cuff pieces right sides together and stitch the side edges. Start and end stitching exactly at the marked line of the cuff attachment seam. Turn the piece to the right side, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
- Overlock the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Overlock buttonholes on the cuffs, sew on buttons.
