Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; concealed zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

• From main fabric:
  • Center back part - 2 pieces
  • Side back part - 2 pieces
  • Center front part – 1 piece on fold
  • Side front part - 2 pieces
  • Flounce – 1 piece on fold
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Front neckline facing — 1 piece
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Front neckline facing — 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to the respective pieces.
2. Overlock the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom, press seam allowances open. Insert the concealed zipper.
3. Stitch shoulder seams. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the back.
4. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide, with a length equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch, then fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece.
5. Overlock the lower edge of the sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Place the sleeve wrong side up on the right side of the side part, secure along the princess seams and neckline edges.
6. Stitch the princess seams of the back and front. Press seam allowances towards the center and overlock.
7. Stitch side seams. Press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
8. Stitch shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press seam allowances open. Overlock the outer edge. Place the facing on the garment right side down and stitch the neckline edge. Clip seam allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Secure the facing to the main garment at the shoulder seams and zipper tape.
9. Stitch the flounce into a ring, press seam allowances open, overlock. Along the upper edge of the flounce, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the flounce to the lower edge of the garment, press seam allowances upwards and overlock.
10. Overlock the lower edge of the flounce, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
