CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 2 cm; all other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! ATTENTION! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.

• From fusible interfacing:
  • Collar — 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing. Interface the one-piece placket of the left front.
2. Stitch the darts on the back, press the fullness towards the center. Stitch the center back seam. Overlock the allowance and press it to the left side.
3. Stitch the darts on the front. Press the fullness upwards.
4. Overlock the one-piece placket of the left front. Press the front placket to the wrong side along the fold line.
5. Fold the top, outer, and bottom edges of the ruffle to the wrong side by 0.5 cm, then another 0.5 cm, and topstitch. Along the inner edge of the ruffle, stitch with a loosened top thread and gather. Fold the plackets right sides together, insert the ruffle between them, and stitch the edge of the front opening and the top edge. Trim the allowances at the corner, turn right side out, and press.
6. Attach the outer placket to the right front. Fold the allowance of the inner placket inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer placket attachment. Topstitch along the placket.
7. Stitch the shoulder and side seams, press the allowances towards the back and overlock.
8. Fold the upper collar with the lower collar right sides together, stitch the ends and the outer edge of the collar. Trim the seams, turn the collar right side out, shape, and press. Fold the collar stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished collar between them, align the notches, and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the collar stand. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked seam line of the collar stand attachment. Turn the finished collar right side out and press. Stitch the upper collar stand with the collar into the neckline, fold the open edge of the lower collar stand inwards and topstitch into the seam of the upper collar stand attachment.
9. Make a slit on the sleeve along the marked line. Cut a bias binding from the main fabric, 4 cm wide and a length equal to twice the slit length + 4 cm. Fold the binding in half lengthwise and press. Press the outer allowances towards the center. Finish the sleeve slit with bias binding. Create and secure the pleat on the sleeve. The depth is directed away from the closure.
10. Stitch the sleeve seam, press the allowances towards the back and overlock. Set the sleeves into the armholes, press the allowances and overlock.
11. Fold the cuff pieces in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch the side edges. Start and end the stitching precisely at the marked seam line of the cuff attachment. Turn the piece right side out, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
12. Fold the hem of the garment inwards by 1 cm, then another 1 cm, and topstitch.
13. On the right front, make buttonholes, on the left – sew on buttons. Make buttonholes and sew on buttons on the cuffs and collar stand.
