FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing. IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES; IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance – 1.5 cm; other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
  • Back – 1 piece on fold
  • Front – 1 piece on fold
  • Front insert - 1 piece
  • Neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Cut-out facing – 1 piece
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Cut-out facing – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Overlock the outer edge of the cut-out facing. Place the cut-out facing and the front insert right sides together and stitch around the cut-out. Trim seam allowances to 1-2 mm, turn the facing to the wrong side, smooth out, and press.
3. Along the horizontal edge of the front, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the insert to the front, clipping the seam allowance at the corners, press seam allowances towards the front, and overlock.
4. Stitch shoulder seams, press seam allowances towards the back, and overlock.
5. Place the neckline facing pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked seam line for attachment. Clip seam allowances at curves, trim at corners, turn the facing to the right side, and press.
6. Stitch the outer part of the neckline facing to the neckline, press seam allowances towards the facing. Turn under the raw edge of the inner facing and topstitch into the attachment seam.
7. Cut a bias binding strip 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding strip in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding strip along the armhole edge, right side out, extending the ends, and stitch. Fold the binding strip to the wrong side, clip the seams, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
8. Stitch side seams, press seam allowances towards the back, and overlock.
9. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
