- Center Front Facing – 2 pieces
- Back Neckline Facing – 1 piece
- Bias strips for the armholes, 4 cm wide × armhole length + 4 cm – 2 pieces (if not using ready-made binding)
From fusible interfacing:
- Center Front Facing – 2 pieces
- Back Neckline Facing – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

Fuse interfacing to the Center Front Facing and Back Neckline Facing.
Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the top to the zipper mark and from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press seam allowances open, insert the invisible zipper.
Lay the pleats at the shoulder edge of each Front and baste them in place. Stitch the shoulder seams, press seam allowances towards the back, serge.
Cut (if not using ready-made) a bias strip 4 cm wide and equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding on the armhole edge, right side to right side, and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
Stitch the shoulder seams of the Center Front Facing and Back Neckline Facing, clip and press the seam allowances open. Serge the outer edge. Place the facings on the right side of the garment and stitch the right front edge from the center back seam to the bottom. Stitch the left front edge from the center back seam to the mark. Clip seam allowances at the mark. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn the facings to the wrong side and press. Serge the seam allowances of the left front edge from the mark to the bottom.
Overlap the right front over the left front, align the center lines, and topstitch along the right front edge from the vertical mark to the bottom. Topstitch from the vertical mark of the right front, along the neckline, and along the left front edge.
Stitch the side seams, press seam allowances towards the back, serge.
Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
