A ready-made cord can also be used.

  4. Overlock buttonholes for the cord.
  5. Press the front placket lengthwise in half, right side out. Stitch the inner side of the placket to the front, press the allowances towards the placket. Turn the raw edge of the outer placket inwards and topstitch into the seam of the inner placket attachment. Stitch a decorative topstitch 0.1 cm along the edge of the placket.
  6. Stitch shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock. Stitch side seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.

Stitch a decorative topstitch 0.1 cm from the edge. Fold collar stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished collar between them and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the collar stand. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked seam line for attaching the collar stand. Turn the finished collar right side out and press. Stitch the outer collar stand to the neckline, turn the raw edge of the inner collar stand inwards and topstitch into the seam of attachment.
  8. Stitch the cuff into a loop, press allowances open. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half, right side out, and press. Stitch the outer side of the cuff to the armhole, turn the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
  9. Press the bottom edge of the garment to the wrong side by 1 cm, then by 2 cm, press and topstitch, forming a casing.
  10. On the left front and collar stand, overlock buttonholes. Sew on corresponding buttons. Thread the cord through the casing.
