FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; concealed zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 1.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). ATTENTION! MARKINGS ON THE PATTERNS ARE MADE ON THE FACE SIDE.

• From main fabric:
  • Back – 2 pieces
  • Front – 1 piece
  • Upper front part – 1 piece
  • Front neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Collar – 1 piece
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Front neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Collar – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the top to the zipper mark and from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press seam allowances open, insert the concealed zipper.
3. Stitch the bust darts. Press the dart fullness upwards.
4. Stitch the front princess seam. Serge the seam allowance and press upwards.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
6. Fold the collar in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the corners. Trim seam allowances, turn right side out, and press. Attach the collar to the neckline.
7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the facings. Press seam allowances open. Serge the outer edge. Place the facing on the garment, right sides together, and stitch the neckline edge. Clip seam allowances at curves, clip into the corner. Turn the facing to the wrong side and press.
8. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding on the armhole edge, right sides together, and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
9. Stitch the side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
10. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
