Introducing a refined women's dress pattern featuring a distinct mandarin collar, an elegant asymmetric front closure, and practical side slits for ease of movement.
This versatile dress is perfect for a variety of occasions, offering both elegance and comfort:
Silhouette: Fitted through the bodice and waist, gently skimming the hips for a flattering sheath silhouette.
Collar: a sophisticated stand-up mandarin collar frames the neckline.
Closure: Features an elegant asymmetric front placket with five decorative buttons and a concealed zipper closure at the center back.
Sleeves: Full-length set-in sleeves provide modest coverage.
Back: Designed with elegant back princess seams and a center back seam incorporating a concealed zipper.
Hem: Finishes at knee-length with stylish side slits for enhanced movement.
Intermediate. Requires accurate construction of a stand-up collar, setting in sleeves, and installing a concealed zipper.
Choose dress fabrics with some body and stability to support the garment's structure:
If the patterns have a double contour, seam allowances are included. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the garment and sleeve – 3.0 cm. Allowance along the back and front slit – 3.0 cm. Allowance along the bottom edge of the upper front – 2 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
