FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance and sleeve hem allowance – 1.2 cm; other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 1 piece on fold
    • Yoke – 2 pieces
    • Front – 2 pieces
    • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Front facing – 2 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Front facing – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
  2. Stitch the center seam of the yoke, press seam allowances to the left and serge.
  3. Along the upper edge of the back, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the yoke to the back, press seam allowances upwards and serge.
  4. Stitch the center seam of the front from the mark to the bottom, clip seam allowances at the mark, press to the left and serge.
  5. Along the shoulder edge of the front, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the yoke to the front, press seam allowances upwards and serge.
  6. Stitch the stand seam, press seam allowances open. Attach the stand to the neckline, clipping at the corners, press seam allowances towards the stand.
  7. Stitch the front center seam of the facings from the mark to the bottom, clip seam allowances at the mark and press open. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facing and front facings, press seam allowances open. Serge the outer edge. Attach the stand to the neckline of the front facing and neckline facing, press seam allowances upwards. Place the facings right sides together with the garment and stitch around the neckline and stand edge. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn facings to the wrong side and press. Secure the stand attachment seams together. Attach the front facing to the main garment along the center front seam.
  8. Serge the lower edge of the sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Stitch the side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
  9. Serge the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
