- Upper back - 2 pieces
- Upper front - 1 piece with fold
- Lower back – 2 pieces
- Lower front – 1 piece with fold
- Front neckline facing - 1 piece
- Back neckline facing - 2 pieces
- From fusible interfacing:
- Front neckline facing – 1 piece
- Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Along the upper edge of the lower back, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower back parts together. Overlock the seam allowance and press it upwards. Overlock the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press the seam allowances open. Insert the invisible zipper.
- Along the upper edge of the lower front, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower front parts together. Overlock the seam allowance and press it upwards.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams simultaneously with the sleeve edges. Press the seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press the seam allowances open. Overlock the outer edge. Place the facing onto the garment right sides together and stitch the neckline. Clip the seam allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side and press.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment and sleeves, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
