CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance — 2.5 cm, vent allowance – 6 cm, other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Upper back part – 2 pieces
  • Back waistband — 2 pieces
  • Lower back part — 2 pieces
  • Upper front part — 1 piece on fold
  • Front waistband — 1 piece
  • Lower front part — 1 piece on fold
  • Sleeve — 2 pieces
  • Cuff — 2 pieces
• From fusible interlining:
  • Cuff — 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interlining to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch darts on the upper and lower back pieces, press allowances towards the center.
3. Attach the back waistband to the upper back part, press allowances towards the waistband and overcast. Attach the lower back part to the waistband, press allowances towards the waistband and overcast.
4. On the left back piece, trim 5 cm along the vertical vent edge. On both back pieces, fuse the vent from the wrong side. On the right side, mark the center seam line (vent fold line). Press the left part along the vent fold line; on the right part, press only the allowance of the right side of the vent (6 cm) to the wrong side. Align the pieces along the center seam and secure at the upper edge of the vent. Overcast the center back edge separately on each piece. Overcast the vent allowances. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the vent corner. Clip the corner of the vent seam allowance on the right piece. Press open the center seam allowances, press the vent allowances and secure them with machine stitching. Insert the zipper.
5. Stitch darts on the upper front piece, press allowances upwards. Lay and secure pleats on the lower front piece (depths directed towards the center).
6. Attach the front waistband to the upper front part, press allowances towards the waistband and overcast. Attach the lower front part to the waistband, press allowances towards the waistband and overcast.
7. Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
8. Cut a bias strip 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 5 cm. Fold the bias strip in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the bias strip with the neckline edge, right sides together, and stitch. Clip allowances. Fold the bias strip to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
9. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and overcast. Stitch along the lower edge with a loosened thread and gather. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches. Press and overcast allowances.
10. Stitch the cuff into a loop, press allowances open. Press the cuff in half lengthwise, right side out. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer side attachment.
11. Overcast the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
