Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: fusible interfacing; concealed zipper; 2 buttons. IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for sleeve hem – 1.5 cm, hem allowance for garment hem – 3 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- From main fabric:
- Back – 2 pieces
- Side front – 1 piece on fold
- Center front – 2 pieces
- Upper back sleeve – 2 pieces
- Lower back sleeve – 2 pieces
- Upper front sleeve – 2 pieces
- Lower front sleeve – 2 pieces
- Sleeve tab – 2 pieces
- Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
- Front neckline facing – 1 piece
- From fusible interfacing:
- Back neckline facing — 2 pieces
- Front neckline facing – 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Stitch the upper and lower parts of the back sleeve, press seam allowances upwards and overcast. Stitch the upper and lower parts of the front sleeve, press seam allowances upwards and overcast.
- Stitch the waist darts on the back pieces, press depths towards the center. Attach the sleeve to the back, press seam allowances towards the sleeve, overcast.
- Overcast the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom, press seam allowances open. Insert the concealed zipper.
- Stitch the center front seam, press seam allowances to the left side and overcast. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam. Stitch the front princess seams, clipping the center part at the corner, press seam allowances towards the center, overcast. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam. Attach the center part to the side part along the horizontal edge, clipping the side part at the corner. Press seam allowances upwards, overcast and topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Attach the sleeve to the front, press seam allowances towards the sleeve, overcast.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the dress, simultaneously with the sleeve seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press seam allowances open. Overcast the outer edge. Place the facing on the garment right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Clip seam allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side, straighten, press. Secure the facing to the garment at the shoulder seams and zipper tape.
- Fold the tabs in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch along the long and short edges. Turn right side out, trimming seam allowances at corners, straighten and press. Overcast the open short edge. Topstitch the tabs to the wrong side of the sleeves into the seam joining the upper and lower parts.
- Overcast the hem allowance of the garment and sleeves, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Overcast buttonholes on the tabs. Sew buttons to the sleeve seam.
