CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE PATTERNS INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES; IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Seam allowances – 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom of the garment – 2 cm. Allowance around the perimeter of the cuff, except for the section between the marks – 0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Back - 1 piece on fold
  • Front - 1 piece on fold
  • Back sleeve part – 2 pieces
  • Front sleeve part – 2 pieces
  • Cuff — 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch bust darts, press allowances upwards.
2. Stitch the right shoulder seam, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
3. Cut a bias strip 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the neckline edge, right side facing, extending the tails, and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip allowances, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
4. Stitch the side and left shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
5. Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide at a 45-degree angle for loop closures. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right side in, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out and straighten the rouleau. Cut into sections (you choose the number of loops). Adjust the length of the loops. Topstitch the loops onto the back sleeve part (folds facing away from the center edge).
6. Cut a bias strip 4 cm wide and a length equal to the sleeve center seam length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the center edge of the back sleeve part, right side facing, extending the tails, and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip allowances, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam. Process the center edge of the front sleeve part in the same way.
7. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and overcast. Align the sleeves at the center seam butt-to-butt, secure at the top and bottom. Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching notches, press allowances and overcast.
8. Overcast the cuff perimeter with a narrow rolled hem. Along the bottom of the sleeve, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the cuff to the bottom of the sleeve, press allowances towards the cuff and overcast.
9. Press the bottom hem allowance 1 cm, then another 1 cm, and topstitch.
10. Sew decorative buttons (according to the number of loops) to the center edge of the front sleeve part. Tip: instead of self-fabric loop closures, you can use pre-made loop tape. In this case, skip step 5 and topstitch the pre-made loop tape onto the center seam of the back sleeve half after completing step 6.
