CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance – 2.0 cm, other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing.
  2. Stitch darts on the upper back pieces, press allowances towards the center. Stitch the center seam of the upper back, press allowances to the left side and overcast.
  3. Stitch the middle and side parts of the back waistband, press allowances towards the center, overcast. Topstitch 0.2 cm from the seam. Attach the back waistband to the upper part, press allowances onto the waistband and overcast.
  4. Along the lower edge of the upper front part, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather.
  5. Stitch the middle and side parts of the front waistband, press allowances towards the center, overcast. Topstitch 0.2 cm from the seam. Attach the front waistband to the upper part, press allowances onto the waistband and overcast. Topstitch 0.2 cm from the seam.
  6. Fold collar pieces right sides together and stitch along the ends and outer edge. Start and end stitching strictly at the marked collar attachment seam line. Trim allowances at corners, clip at the mark. Turn collar right side out, shape and press. Topstitch 0.2 cm from the edge.
  7. Stitch shoulder seams of the garment, press allowances towards the back and overcast. Stitch and press open shoulder seams of the back neckline facing and front facings. Overcast the outer edge.
  8. Place the front facing on the right side of the front piece, right side down, pin and stitch along the front edge. Stitching is done upwards to the notch, which defines the end of the collar attachment. Trim seams at corners. Turn front edges right side out, shape seams.
  9. Attach the lower collar to the garment neckline, and the upper collar to the back neckline facing and front facing. Clip, press open, and secure collar attachment seam allowances close to the seams.
  10. Overcast buttonholes on the right front piece. Lay the right upper front piece over the left and secure along the lower edge.
  11. Stitch the center seam of the lower back part, press allowances to the left side and overcast. Along the upper edge of the lower back part, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower back parts, press allowances upwards and overcast. Topstitch 0.2 cm from the seam.
  12. Stitch the center seam of the lower front part, press allowances to the left side and overcast. Along the upper edge of the lower front part, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower front parts, press allowances upwards and overcast. Topstitch 0.2 cm from the seam.
  13. Stitch side seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
  14. Overcast sleeve edges separately. Along the lower edge, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. At the sleeve cap, lay and secure pleats. Stitch the sleeve seam from the armhole to the slit mark, press allowances open. Topstitch the slit 0.1 cm from the fold. Set sleeves into armholes, press allowances and overcast.
  15. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch side edges. Turn the piece right side out, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
  16. Overcast the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  17. Overcast buttonholes on the cuffs, sew on buttons. Sew on buttons on the left front piece.
