CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance for the garment bottom and sleeve hem – 2 cm, other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- From main fabric:
- Upper back part – 2 pieces
- Central back part – 2 pieces
- Central front part — 1 piece
- Front neckline – 1 piece
- Side back part – 2 pieces
- Side front part – 2 pieces
- From guipure lace:
- Front upper part trim — 1 piece
- Back upper part trim — 2 pieces
- Sleeve — 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch shoulder seams of front and back trims. Press allowances towards the back and serge.
- Attach side parts to front and back, clipping the allowance at the corner. Serge and press allowances: horizontal cut – upwards, vertical – towards the center.
- Attach the front upper part trim to the central part. Serge and press allowance downwards.
- Stitch shoulder seams of the upper back part and front neckline. Press allowances towards the back. Place guipure lace face down on the right side of the front top. Stitch the neckline. Clip allowances, turn guipure lace to the wrong side and press.
- Turn the outer edges of the upper back part and front neckline inwards and press. Topstitch the upper back parts along the markings onto the guipure insert 0.1-0.2 from the edge. Topstitch the front neckline along the markings onto the guipure insert and central part 0.1-0.2 from the edge.
- Attach the upper back part to the central part.
- Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press center seam allowances open. Insert the zipper.
- Stitch side seams. Serge and press allowances towards the back.
- Stitch the sleeve seam. Serge and press allowance towards the back. Set the sleeve into the armhole, matching markings. Serge allowance. Fold the sleeve hem twice by 1 cm and topstitch.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment. Fold the allowance to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
