Lining pieces are cut according to the main fabric patterns, subtracting the width of the back facing and front facing.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch the princess seams of the upper and lower back parts. Press seams open. Stitch the center seams of the upper and lower back parts. Press seams open. Stitch the upper and lower back parts together, press seams open.
3. Stitch the princess seams of the upper and lower front parts. Press seams open. Stitch the upper and lower front parts together, press seams open.
4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Press seams open.
5. Stitch the sleeve seam. Press seams open. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches, easing the sleeve cap at the top.
6. Stitch the shoulder seams of the front facings and neckline facing. Press seams open. Place front facings onto the garment right sides together and stitch along the front edges and neckline. Clip curves and trim corners. Turn the front facing to the wrong side, straighten, and press.
7. Stitch the lining pieces similarly to the main fabric pieces, leaving an opening in the left elbow seam of the sleeve. Attach the lining to the neckline facing and front facing.
8. Attach the lining to the bottom of the coat. Attach the lining to the bottom of the sleeve. Turn the coat right side out through the opening. Close the technical opening.
9. Make buttonholes on the right and left front panels. Sew on main and inner buttons.
