Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: THIN TULLE. Also needed: LACE TRIM 2 cm wide.
CUTTER'S MUST
If the patterns have a double contour, they include SEAM ALLOWANCES. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: All allowances - 1 cm (except for flounce patterns). ATTENTION! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width should be at least 140 cm) to determine how much material you will need.
- From TULLE:
- Stole with integrated sleeves
- Large and small square flounces
- Lace trim: Sewn onto the finished stole and hand-embroidered with beads.
Sewing Instructions
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the NOTCHES - they must match! Try to observe the GRAIN LINE direction.
- The large and small square flounces are cut along the "cut" line. Then the small flounce is placed on the large one and stitched together with the raw edges of the stole (the flounces are sewn to the stole along their inner diameter - the ends remain free - see photo). The flounces are only stitched along the long edges of the stole.
- The stitching edges are covered with a topstitched lace trim (you will need approximately 6 m of it).
- The flounces are also stitched onto the lower edges of the sleeves, which are then covered with lace trim. The sleeves are sewn up to the marks with an internal seam.
