Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: TAFFETA – SHANJAN; thin TULLE (preferably two shades, e.g., milky and creamy white); LACE TRIM, 1.5 cm wide; thin DECORATIVE CORDS, FRAGMENTS OF LACE MACRAME. Also needed: ZIPPER, metal or plastic BONING, 8-9 decorative CHIFFON flowers, FUSIBLE INTERFACING, BIAS BINDING.
CUTTER'S MUST
If the patterns have a double contour, they include SEAM ALLOWANCES. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Allowance for the center back seam (FOR ZIPPER INSERTION) - 2 cm. Other seams - 1 cm. ATTENTION! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width should be at least 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need. When stitching pieces, pay attention to the NOTCHES - they must match! Try to observe the GRAIN LINE direction.
- From TAFFETA:

- Some bodice pieces (refer to patterns) in 2 layers.
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:

- From thin TULLE:

Sewing Instructions
Finishing: LACE TRIM with loops, 1.5 cm wide, is used as a trim, stitched or hand-attached along the seams. Decorative cord is inserted into the loops. Decorate the cups with wide DECORATIVE CORD, hand-stitched, or with an application of LACE MACRAME fragments.
- Bodice seams should be finished on the wrong side with BIAS BINDING, and metal or plastic BONING, 2 cm shorter than the seam length, should be inserted into them (for ease of processing).
- The skirt is finished as a "balloon" with a clean edge – TULLE inside to create shape. The lower part of the "balloon" skirt is stitched into the lower edge of the upper "balloon" skirt, and then the entire skirt is attached to the bodice.
- Then, on the mannequin, the desired shape of the skirt is created - asymmetrical pleats are laid out on the finished garment and secured with hand stitches and decorative flowers.
- ZIPPER in the center back seam.
