Pattern #2006
Tech. Description

Fabric & Materials

Fabric recommendations: HEAVY SATIN. Also needed: separating ZIPPER, metal or plastic BONING, LACE APPLIQUE OR EMBROIDERY, FUSIBLE INTERFACING, cord for loops.

CUTTER'S MUST

If the patterns have a double contour, they include SEAM ALLOWANCES. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Seam allowance for the center back seam (FOR ZIPPER INSERTION) of the garment - 2 cm. Other seams - 1 cm. ATTENTION! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width should be at least 140 cm) to determine how much material you will need. Lace fabric or trim: Sew onto the finished front panel and hand-embroider with beads.

  • From SATIN:
    • All CORSET pieces. Also recommended for use as lining.
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
    • All CORSET pieces.

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the NOTCHES - they must match! Try to observe the GRAIN LINE direction.

  1. Metal or plastic BONING, 2 cm shorter than the seam length (for ease of processing), should be inserted into the BODICE seams.
  2. ZIPPER in the center back seam.
  3. Back closure at the collar with 2 small buttons and cord loops.
