CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- Lower FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- SLEEVE – 2 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Serge the neck edge allowance of the upper FRONT PANEL. Fold the allowance to the wrong side, press, and topstitch. Form pleats according to the NOTCHES.
- Overlap the right upper FRONT PANEL onto the left and secure them together. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the upper FRONT PANEL, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the shoulder seams. Note: The shoulder seam of the BACK PANEL is 1 cm longer than the shoulder seam of the FRONT PANEL (allowance for finishing the back neckline). Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the side seams. Serge and press the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the SLEEVE seams. Serge and press the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, matching the NOTCHES. Serge and press the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment, the bottom edge of the SLEEVE, and the back neckline edge. Fold the allowances to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
