CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. Center FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- 2. BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- 3. Side FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 4. SLEEVE – 2 QTY
- 5. COLLAR – 1 QTY
ATTENTION! Before starting, check that the COLLAR, when sewn into a ring, fits over the head.
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics should be sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Along the princess seams of the center FRONT PANEL, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL, aligning the NOTCHES. Serge and press the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the shoulder seams. Serge and press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL.
- Set the SLEEVES into the open armholes, aligning the NOTCHES. Serge the seam and press towards the SLEEVE. Stitch the side seam and the SLEEVE seam in one continuous operation. Serge and press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL.
- Fold the COLLAR in half, wrong side in. Stitch the COLLAR to the neckline, aligning the NOTCHES. The side edge of the COLLAR is positioned at the left shoulder seam. Serge and press the COLLAR attachment seam.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the SLEEVE. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
