- SLEEVE – 2 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces made of knit fabrics should be stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Mark and create pleats on the FRONT PANEL. Secure them at the shoulder edge.
- Stitch the shoulder edges of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Serge the seams and press them towards the BACK PANEL. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes. Serge the seams and press them towards the BACK PANEL. Stitch the side edges and SLEEVE edges. Serge the seams and press them towards the BACK PANEL.
- Serge the neckline edge. Fold the allowance to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Serge the lower SLEEVE edge. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
- Even out the bottom of the T-shirt (depending on the knit, the bottom of the FRONT PANEL may sag). Serge the bottom edge of the garment. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
