    • Back – 2 pieces
    • Upper front part – 4 pieces
    • Lower front part – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Fold and stitch darts on the upper front part according to markings. Press darts towards the side seam. Stitch the center neckline edge of the upper front part in pairs. Press the seam. Fold the upper front part pieces right sides together and face the armhole and neckline. Clip allowances. Turn pieces right side out and press. Secure together along the side and bottom seams.
  2. Stitch the center edge of the lower front part. Serge and press the seam. Fold and secure 2 inverted pleats according to markings. Stitch the upper and lower front parts together. Serge and press the seam downwards.
  3. Serge the center back edge. Stitch the center back edge from the notch for the zipper to the bottom. Press the seam open, pressing the zipper opening. Insert the zipper.
  4. Finish the bottom edge of the back and front with a French seam (also called a "Moscow" seam). To do this, press the allowance to the wrong side by 1.5 cm, stitch 0.1-0.2 cm from the fold. Trim the allowance close to the stitching. Fold the allowance again and stitch along the previous line. Press the seam.
  5. Stitch the side edges. Stitch from the bottom line. The side edge of the back is 1 cm longer than the side edge of the front (due to the upper allowance). Serge and press the seam towards the back.
  6. Serge the upper back edge, press it to the wrong side, wrapping around the side seam, and topstitch.
