Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the COLLAR stand and COLLAR.
2. Stitch the upper and middle BACK PANELs together, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the middle part and serge. Stitch the middle and lower BACK PANELs together, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the middle part and serge.
3. Press the FRONT PANEL insert crosswise, right side out. Fold the upper FRONT PANEL with the LINING and stitch the center edge, inserting the TRIM STRIP. Stitch the armhole edge. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves, turn the piece right side out.
4. On the upper FRONT PANEL, stitch the dart for 4 cm, press the depth open. Along the lower edge, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather the marked section.
5. Stitch the upper and middle FRONT PANELs together, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the middle part and serge. Stitch the middle and lower FRONT PANELs together, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the middle part and serge.
6. Stitch the right side seam (the upper BACK PANEL SEAM ALLOWANCE is 1.5 cm longer), press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge. Serge the left side edges separately, stitch from the NOTCH to the bottom, press open. Insert the ZIPPER. Serge the upper BACK PANEL SEAM ALLOWANCE, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Topstitch elastic tape along the upper BACK PANEL edge, stretching it slightly.
7. Stitch the side edges of the lower TRIM STRIPs, press SEAM ALLOWANCES and serge. Attach the lower TRIM STRIP to the sundress, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge. Serge the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
8. Fold the upper COLLAR with the lower COLLAR, right sides together. Stitch the ends and outer edge of the COLLAR. Trim seams. Turn the COLLAR out, shape and press. Fold the COLLAR stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished COLLAR between them, align NOTCHES and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the COLLAR stand. Start and end stitching strictly at the marked line of the COLLAR stand attachment seam. Turn the finished COLLAR out and press.
9. Attach the upper COLLAR stand with the COLLAR to the neckline of the FRONT PANEL, turn under the open edge of the lower COLLAR stand and topstitch into the seam of the upper COLLAR stand attachment. Press the open SEAM ALLOWANCES of the upper and lower COLLAR stands to the wrong side, stitch the COLLAR stands.
10. TIP: The sundress can be worn with a belt.
