- 1. Back Yoke – 1 QTY
- 2. Back Skirt Half – 1 QTY on fold
- 3. Front Yoke – 1 QTY
- 4. Front Skirt Half – 1 QTY on fold
- 5. Front Neckline FACING – 1 QTY
- 6. Back Neckline FACING – 1 QTY
- 7. Flounce – 2 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Apply FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the back and front neckline FACINGS.
- Along the upper edge of the back skirt half, sew a basting stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather the edge to the length of the lower edge of the back yoke. Attach the yoke to the lower part, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the yoke and overcast. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the seam.
- Along the upper edge of the front skirt half, sew a basting stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather the edge to the length of the lower edge of the back yoke. Attach the yoke to the lower part, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the yoke and overcast. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the seam.
- Stitch the shoulder edges of the back and front panels. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the back and overcast.
- Stitch the FACING pieces together. Press the seams open. Place the FACING with the back and front necklines right sides together and stitch the neckline. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the corners, turn the FACING to the wrong side, and press. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the neckline.
- Fold the flounce piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the short edges. Turn the flounce right side out, straighten the seams, and press. Topstitch along three sides 0.1 cm from the edge.
- Clip the armhole SEAM ALLOWANCE at the yokes, align the flounce with the armhole and attach. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE towards the garment and overcast. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the attachment seam.
- Stitch the side edges of the back and front panels. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the back and overcast.
- Cut a BIAS BINDING 4 cm wide and equal in length to the lower part of the armhole. Press the TRIM STRIP in half lengthwise, right side out. Place the BIAS BINDING right sides together with the lower part of the armhole and stitch. Fold the TRIM STRIP to the wrong side. Topstitch the TRIM STRIP with a 0.1 cm wide seam.
- Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, fold inwards, and topstitch.
