CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
1. BACK PANEL upper part – 1 QTY
2. BACK PANEL lower part – 1 QTY
3. FRONT PANEL SIDE PANEL – 2 QTY
4. FRONT PANEL lower part – 2 QTY
• From guipure:
1. FRONT PANEL upper part – 2 QTY

Tip: Cut pieces from elastic fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm.

Sewing Instructions

1. Mark and stitch darts on the upper FRONT PANEL piece. Serge, simultaneously trimming the dart depths.
2. Stitch the FRONT PANEL SIDE PANEL to the upper FRONT PANEL, serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
3. Cut a FRONT PANEL FLOUNCE from the main fabric, 6 cm wide and the length indicated on the BACK PANEL pattern. Cut it in half, serge one long side with a rolled hem, along the other side lay a machine stitch with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather the FLOUNCE to the length of the front edge of the lower FRONT PANEL, stitch the FLOUNCE to the garment, serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
4. Stitch the lower FRONT PANEL to the upper part, serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
5. Stitch the upper BACK PANEL to the lower part, serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
6. Cut a BACK PANEL FLOUNCE from the main fabric, 6 cm wide and the length indicated on the BACK PANEL pattern. Serge one long side with a rolled hem, along the other side lay a machine stitch with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather the FLOUNCE to the length of the lower edge of the BACK PANEL, stitch the FLOUNCE to the garment, serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
7. Stitch and serge the side edges.
8. Serge the upper edge of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL, press to the wrong side, place elastic TRIM STRIP underneath, stretching slightly, and topstitch with a zigzag stitch. The TRIM STRIP should be 10% shorter than the edge.
9. Sew on the finished straps. Sew on the ribbon.
