Sewing Instructions
- Fuse fusible interfacing to the armhole facings of the front and back, and the neckline facings of the front and back.
- Stitch shoulder and waist darts on the back. Press dart fullness towards the center back. Stitch the center back seam, press seam allowances to the left side and overlock.
- Attach the side of the front to the central front. Press seam allowances towards the center and overlock. Attach the upper front to the side and central parts. Press seam allowances upwards and overlock. Attach the neckline facing of the front made from contrast fabric to the front. Press seam allowances onto the facing.
- Form pleats on the lower back skirt half and front skirt half. Attach the lower back skirt half to the back. Press the attachment seam upwards and overlock. Attach the lower front skirt half to the front. Press the attachment seam upwards and overlock.
- Attach the front trim to the front, attach the back trim to the back. Press attachment seams upwards and overlock.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the blouse. Press seam allowances open and overlock. Stitch the right side seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock. Stitch the left side seam from the mark downwards. Press seam allowances open, pressing the slit for the zipper, and overlock. Insert the zipper.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings of the front and back, press seams open. Overlock the outer edge of the facing. Place the facing right sides together with the garment and stitch the neckline edge. Turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Topstitch the front facing into the attachment seam of the outer facing made from contrast fabric.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the right armhole facings. Stitch the shoulder seams of the left armhole facings. Overlock the outer edges. Place the facings with the blouse right sides together and stitch the armholes. Topstitch the seam allowances onto the facings 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the facings to the wrong side and press. Attach the side edges of the left facing to the zipper allowance.
- Press the bottom edge of the blouse to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch.
