  • From LINING fabric:
    1. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
    2. FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
    3. Front SLEEVE part – 2 QTY

  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
    1. FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
    2. Front facing – 2 QTY
    3. Back neck FACING – 1 QTY
    4. COLLAR – 1 QTY
    5. Collar stand – 1 QTY
    6. Lapel – 2 QTY

ATTENTION: The FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL LINING pieces are cut without considering the width of the front facings and back neck FACING, respectively.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the front facing, back neck FACING, FRONT PANEL, upper COLLAR, upper collar stand, and upper lapel.
  2. Mark darts on the BACK PANEL. Stitch and press BACK PANEL darts towards the center. Mark darts on the FRONT PANEL. Stitch and press FRONT PANEL darts towards the center. Trim dart excess.
  3. Stitch the center back seam. Press seam open. Attach back SLEEVE parts to the BACK PANEL. Attach front SLEEVE parts to the FRONT PANELS. Press seams open.
  4. Stitch the upper SLEEVE seams. Press seams open. Stitch the lower SLEEVE seams and side seams in one continuous line. Press seams open.
  5. Place COLLAR pieces right sides together. Stitch the ends and outer edge of the COLLAR. Trim seam allowance. Turn the COLLAR right side out and press. Place collar stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished COLLAR between them, align NOTCHES, and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the collar stand. Turn the collar stand right side out and press.
  6. Place lapel pieces right sides together and stitch along the contour, leaving the attachment seam to the neckline open. Trim seam allowance. Turn the lapel right side out and press.
  7. Attach the COLLAR and lapels to the jacket. Press seam.
  8. Stitch the shoulder seams of the back neck FACING and front facing. Press seams open.
  9. Place the front facing on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, right side down, and stitch the front edge and neckline of the jacket. Topstitch the seam allowance of the front edge to the front facing. The stitching should be 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the front edges right side out, smooth the seams.
  10. Stitch the LINING pieces, leaving an opening in the right SLEEVE seam.
  11. Press up the hem allowance of the garment and SLEEVE hem. Attach shoulder pads. Attach the LINING to the inner edges of the front facings and back neck FACING. Stitch the lower corner of the front edge. Trim the seams of the lower front edge corners. Attach the LINING to the bottom of the jacket and SLEEVES. Turn the jacket right side out through the opening in the SLEEVE. Stitch the opening in the SLEEVE.
  12. On the right FRONT PANEL, make buttonholes; on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on buttons.
  13. Fold the belt piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long side and one short side. Turn the belt right side out, turn in the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the unstitched section, and topstitch 0.1 cm from the edge around the perimeter of the belt. Attach the belt to the left side seam.
