    9. Collar stand – 2 qty
    10. Placket – 2 qty
    11. Sleeve - 2 qty

  • From fusible interfacing: placket details, upper collar, upper collar stand, cuffs.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse the plackets, upper collar, upper collar stand, and cuffs with fusible interfacing.
  2. Fold the collar pieces right sides together and stitch along the ends and outer edge. Trim, turn out the collar corners. Stitch the collar stand pieces together, inserting the collar between them. Turn right side out, press the finished collar.
  3. Stitch the back relief seams, press seam allowances towards the center and overlock. Stitch the center seam of the back, press seam allowances to the left side and overlock. Attach the yoke to the back, press seam allowances onto the yoke and overlock.
  4. Attach the side front to the middle. Press seam allowances onto the middle and overlock. Attach the middle front to the center. Press seam allowances onto the center and overlock. Attach the yoke to the front, press seam allowances onto the yoke and overlock.
  5. Fold the plackets in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Attach the outer placket to the front edge of the front, press seam allowances onto the placket. Fold the free longitudinal edge of the inner placket to the wrong side and topstitch into the seam of the outer placket attachment.
  6. Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the blouse. Press seams towards the back and overlock.
  7. Insert the lower collar stand with the collar into the neckline, fold under the open edge of the upper collar stand and topstitch into the seam of the lower collar stand insertion.
  8. Stitch and overlock the sleeve edges. Along the sleeve cap and lower edge, sew a row of loosely tensioned stitches. Gather the cap and lower edge.
  9. Fold the cuff in half lengthwise, right side in, and stitch the short sides and the extension for the closure. Trim seam allowances at the corners, turn the cuff right side out. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the lower edge of the sleeve. Fold the seam allowance of the inner side to the wrong side and topstitch into the attachment seam. Mark and overlock buttonholes, sew on buttons.
  10. Set the sleeves into the armholes, overlock seam allowances.
  11. Fold the seam allowance of the garment's lower edge to the wrong side, fold inwards and topstitch.
  12. Overlock buttonholes on the right placket and collar stand, and sew buttons on the left placket and collar stand.
  13. Tip: If desired, decorative trim strip can be inserted into the seams according to the picture or technical drawing.
