Cowl Neck Flutter Sleeve Blouse

• BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
• FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
• Back part of SLEEVE – 2 QTY
• Front part of SLEEVE – 2 QTY
• Collar stand – 1 QTY
• BACK PANEL neckline FACING – 1 QTY
• FRONT PANEL neckline FACING – 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch the side seams, leaving an unstitched section for the fastener in the left side seam. Press the right side seam towards the BACK PANEL, press open the left side seam, pressing the slit for the ZIPPER. Overcast the seams.
2. Insert the ZIPPER into the left side seam of the blouse.
3. Stitch the shoulder seams. Press the seams open and overcast them.
4. Stitch and press open the shoulder seams of the FACINGS.
5. Fold the collar stand in half lengthwise, right side out. Place the FACING and the blouse right sides together, insert the collar stand between them and stitch. Clip the seam at the curves, turn the FACING to the wrong side and press.
6. Clip the armhole at the NOTCHES. Cut a BIAS BINDING 4 cm wide and of a length equal to the length of the lower part of the armhole. Press the TRIM STRIP in half lengthwise, right side out. Place the BIAS BINDING right sides together with the lower part of the armhole and stitch. Fold the TRIM STRIP to the wrong side. Topstitch the seam allowance onto the TRIM STRIP with a 0.1 cm wide seam.
7. Press the upper edge of the SLEEVE to the wrong side and topstitch. Set the SLEEVES into the upper part of the armhole. Overcast the seams.
8. Overcast the bottom of the garment and the bottom of the SLEEVE, fold to the wrong side and topstitch.
